I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I absolutely loved Kickball the Musical. The cast was incredibly talented, the energy was contagious, and the show had me smiling from start to finish. It was funny, clever, and packed with heart. Seen this at 30 Minutes or Less Fest and I think it's too important to miss! Diaz shows us what society wants from the "Perfect Woman" and how harmful that can be to everyone. Sharp, concise, and full of heart; awakens us to our own humanity in a 30 minute show. Diaz does a good job connecting with the audience, rather than lecturing us, finding ways to include each of us in sme way.... full review

My only complaint is I had to leave early to get to another show! UGH! This was a DELIGHTFUL show filled with laughs about a medium I worked in for 22 years, so it felt purpose built for me! But I know for a fact you don't have to be a comics fan to enjoy the absurdity of the comics these wonderful actors brought to laugh! “Anyone else not reading?” Brendan’s show is packed with jokes, some of which caught me so off guard that I was laughing like a teenage girl at a slumber party. He has a skill for tossing off a surprising joke in a sea of jokes that will jostle you loose. The story was well crafted and lead to an ending that affected me deeply. I cried. It’s an incredibly vulnerable piece. The humor is as much a shield as it is disarming. RECOMMEND!... full review
