The Hollywood Fringe Festival is thrilled to announce our 5th Annual Artist Fund, raised by the community, for the community.
How the Artist Fund is Raised
We know that creatives have taken a massive hit financially over the course of the pandemic and we want to help, which is why 25% of funding through the HFF Commissioners Club goes directly into the Artist Fund so more low income Angeleno artists have access to the festival performance platform!
In 2024, we were thrilled to award 24 Artist Funds thanks to our amazing Commissioner Club members for making this possible! For our 15th anniversary festival in June 2025, we are aiming to fund 30+ productions through this fund.
Who can receive an artist fund micro-commission?
- Any HFF producer who is committed to bringing their show to HFF25 (applicants do not have to be first-time producers) will be able to apply on March 1st, 2025.
- Applicants who identify as low-income (making under $70,650 annually) and are local to Los Angeles County can apply
- Those who have received other HFF program stipends (scholarship stipend or Artist Fund stipend via the Fringe, etc) in 2023, 2024 or 2025 are not eligible
If applicant has already registered for the 2025 festival: a one-time $500 stipend towards venue/production costs
If applicant has not already registered for the 2025 festival: comped multi-performance registration ($300 value) & a one-time $200 stipend towards venue/production costs
