There are few storytellers as talented as Jon. Such a riveting, spooky good time. Great story telling, great sound design, and a few big scares which are so fun. It makes you feel like a little kid at a camp fire hearing an old ghost story. Can’t wait to hear what happens in July?...

It must be challenging to do a one-person show in front of such an intimate audience that is right in front of you with no separation of stage level or orchestra pit. Brian made us into the people he was speaking to--the Life magazine photographer, Henry Fonda, Louis Mayer, even the people whose voices we hear. An excellent performance. I will admit that I expected more comedy, perhaps through anecdotes. There were laughs, to be sure, but this was more an exploration of a well-known person's inne...

It just had so much heart! The feeling of melancholy was palpable—carrying the weight of sadness while feeling profoundly grateful to be alive. At the same time, the actors embodied another striking contrast: the messiness of being human paired with performances that were polished, clean, and articulate. It was truly a wonderful show to experience!!...

This show is a brilliant retrofit an ancient Greek ritual for 2026. This is Hollywood, not Athens, so it feels like you’re in yet another fun immersive experience. Then you realize… wait this is literally a Greek myth and I’m living through a ritual the same way they must have millennia ago. The modernization makes the feeling of the participation in ritual, and the story itself (of course, there are multiple variants, and we only participated in one) comes alive in a way no art history class or ...

Spencer definitely succeeds in the challeging aspects of being a one-man-show. He controls the stage and keeps the audience with him as he tells the story of his self love and understanding. I enjoyed his story, and was inspired that he has the courage to tell it....

When I received the email from the HFF asking if "I enjoyed the production of.....?", I cannot say that I enjoyed FREEDOM IN LIMBO. The intensity of this production are not to be enjoyed - rather it takes us on a journey through fear, rejection, oppression, abuse, invalidation but most of all COURAGE. Are these things to be enjoyed? No. However, are these things we must embrace, support, honor, and understand? Absolutely. FREEMDOM IN LIMBO begins before it begins - showing us the realities being ...

The show is fun as fuck! Lord of the Flies meets Girl, Interrupted. An ambitious, funny, and at times absurd show that doesn't talk down to its audience. The themes of revolution against the patriarchy and the expectations set on women which cause them to contort themselves to measure up, and being punished for not following rules they were never a part of creating are apparent. There are more existential (and absurd) questions posed like, "When does a person stop being a person and become meat?"...
