I had the privilege of watching every performance of Jester, and I was blown away every time! Even though I knew what was coming, I was giggling and cackling, sometimes even more than previous times. The writing is incredibly clever, silly, and heartfelt. Every cast member fit their roles perfectly as well. Shoutout to the ensemble cast for switching personas so quickly and effectively! I’m so excited to see where you all end up next—you’re all so talented and cool and I hope you get rich and fam...

I have never seen a show like this. Part RPG, part clown, part improv and absolutely bananas. With the sound cues, acting, and perfect embodiment of video game character body movements, I felt transported into a PC game from the early 2000s....

Went in with no expectations and left completely and pleasantly surprised. I laughed and cried. The closing monologue spoke to me so clearly. Every single person lent themselves totally to the story and the writing was just phenomenal. Unexpected twists, lots of laughter, LOTS of heart. A necessary viewing for artists to be reminded that it's always within us. Thanks to everyone for the emotional ride. I needed it....

Admirably ambitious and impressive production that stretched the limits of the technological limitations of a fringe festival. Although the dystopian themes of the play are depressingly relevant to the present, ROOT's futuristic style and presentation allowed the audience to engage with the content in a creatively fun and thoughtful way. Excited to see how this piece continues to develop....

This horny religious seminar hit an insane amount of jokes per minute while thoughtfully exploring misogyny, sexuality and shame within the container of christ. Give me more! Barbie Smith is a vulnerable vehicle for godliness and sex. Yamini is incredibly impressive and delivers a truly electric, hysterical performance that leaves you thinking. The directing was exceptional, too. Rami and Yamini are an iconic duo. ...

Superlative. As an artist and musician I thought it was relatable and resonant, an honest look at persons with a focus on their creative aspect, how it affects relationships, family, and perceived definition of so-called "success"... how that changes (or not) over time.
But not TOO serious, very funny at times. Enjoyable to see actors and musicians playing actors and musicians.
