What a gorgeous love letter to Charlie Chaplin! As a lover of silent cinema, seeing the great Charlie Chaplin come to life was so unbelievably cool!!! Marcel gives an authentic portrayal of the legendary figure, from the makeup to the costume to the movements. I was so impressed with his incredible comedic timing with all his improvisations. One of the most clever and original shows I’ve seen in a long time, this show is a MUST SEE at fringe!!!...

Verona streets waste no time getting to the action and even knowing the inevitable tragic ending, you still watch these two hoping that somehow this time they just might figure out how to make it work. Colleen's trimmed down "Romeo & Juliet" delivers this well-known story with plenty of drama, action, and as always love. If like me you're always looking for a chance to see this play, or even if you aren't, you don't want to miss this classic favorite at the McCadden this Fringe season! ...

What a delightful adaptation of this Shakespearean comedy. Colleen's minimalist approach doesn't lose the heart found in the Forest of Arden. Eileen Arce as Rosalind was a true joy to watch on stage - do yourself a favor and don't miss her this Fringe season. (Though with two rotating casts, you can't go wrong with any show you catch!) If you need a smile and a fresh look at a well-known favorite, get to the McCadden for "As You Like It" in 60 Minutes....

My favorite improv experience yet!! This show was SO incredibly fun. Lighthearted and passionate, the cast did a fantastic job setting up a scene for us all to participate. We had a lot of options as to how we could get involved, and it was super satisfying to see some of our suggestions shape the plot’s climax. It’s hard to know what you’re heading into, but in a good way. Great “yes and-“ work that had everyone cheering by the end. Our crowd was pretty quiet at the start, but the cast’s directi...

Today I had the very good fortune of seeing HARBOR CITY TONIGHT.
A high concept dark comedy written by the talented Ryan Wilson, impressively directed by Caitlin Zambito with a wonderful cast and a stellar performance by Jackie Hanson. I ran home and an hour after the show, I had tickets to go see it again. You snooze, you lose on this gem.
GO SEE IT!

A gripping experience that discussed family, unbearable truths, love, resistance and haunted unspoken histories all in a fast moving, concisely, skillfully and carefully directed, terrifically acted 45 minutes!
Oh to be immersed in a play, to leave the world, if only for that time, and to return with the wisdom, compassion and inspiration taken from the experience.
I’m going again!...

A well executed and thought provoking play (erm... meeting) about the importance and perseverance of art (uh... something). An unfortunately all too timely and relevant exploration of the role of theatre in a fascist surveillance state. It's a show that will be sticking with me long after leaving the space. ...

POACHED is an impressive and rewarding show to experience. Mara displays true talent as both a writer and actor, never dropping the energy required to carry a one woman show. Even as it touches on darker subjects, POACHED keeps its audience supplied with plenty of laughs and moments of revelation. The ending is wonderfully full circle and I couldn’t recommend it more as one of the best shows at this year’s Fringe festival! ...
