F*cking Famous

alon dina · June 06, 2026 certified reviewer
Award-winning performer Molly Sharpe returns to the Hollywood Fringe Festival with yet another memorable comedic triumph. Fucking Famous is, simply put, fucking funny. Sharpe takes the stage bruised, battered, and sporting a bloody nose, but as any performer knows, the show must go on. What follows is a delightfully uncomfortable concert/comedy experience that invites us to laugh and sing along. ... full review

Emotional Alpha

Andrew is a tour de force performer-comedic timing, solid crowd work, a really fun concept that surprised me with its depth, AND HE SINGS? What more could you ask for? Emotional Alpha keeps you belly laughing while tugging at a major societal issue in a surprisingly effective way!... full review

WELCOME TO HELL

I originally wrote a joke scathing review of this show, trying to match the style of humor of this show, but it didn’t sit right with me. I want to write something that will sell tickets to his show because people will really appreciate seeing this after a long day of fringing. The incomparable Mark Vigeant has created a delightful clown that satires everything that’s terrible about fringe shows. He gets the funniest performers in La to be his guest demons and they try to do the worst possible sh... full review

SPERM ASSASSINATION

In Sperm Assassination, Pam Levin's one-woman show, she recounts her journey toward accepting motherhood with honesty, vulnerability, and humor. Levin is an award-winning performer and a charismatic storyteller, and her authenticity shines throughout the production. She presents her experiences with remarkable candor, allowing the audience to engage directly with her perspective rather than leaving room for excessive interpretation.... full review

A masterfully structured show that somehow gets funnier with every passing minute. Andrew Knox stars as Eleos Richard, a Licensed Male Emotions Specialist, and welcomes the audience to an Alpha Male Bootcamp for heterosexual men. As absurd as that premise sounds, the show evolves into something surprisingly heartfelt and moving. This is unlike anything else you'll see at Fringe. It is boldly original, highly conceptual, and consistently entertaining. It may be too early to make predictions, but... full review

jim blanchette · June 06, 2026 certified reviewer
This is the rare show that feels like it was taking us on a delightfully aimless journey but then punched us in the heart with its poignant ending that it was leading you to the whole time. Stefan lets us ride shotgun through his personal discovery, displaying one emotional misdirection after another, until we finally arrive at his bittersweet conclusion. Try and get a ticket if you can. You will not be disappointed. ... full review

My One Woman Show (The Search for a Truthful Moment)

This was one of the best shows I've seen at any time - certainly the best one-person show. Stefan's mind is so mercurial and fascinating, and it's on full display the whole time. It's hilariously meta - fourth wall anybody? We watch him change before our eyes from a trickster and joker, imperceptibly becoming more vulnerable, till by the end I was crying uncontrollably watching him. Will he play that guitar? Will we get to hear him sing?... full review
