Terrific storytelling and adept handling of difficult subject matter. McKinnon's swift transitions, super funny moments and character work brought levity and humor and even teh playing field against the dark, scary and traumatic events both personal and universally felt. Highly recommend! ... full review

SOMETHING SPOOKY

lissa rivera · June 22, 2026 certified reviewer
A fun, creepy, and classical ghost story. Jon takes the audience on a journey through haunted theaters, family lore, and the unexplained. What makes the show so compelling is that it isn't just research—it's personal. This is the story of a lifelong pursuit of ghosts, both literal and familial. Watch out, because real spirits are summoned!!... full review

The House Always Wins

Carli is so charmingly funny in this show, I find myself rooting for her even as her haunted intentions grow darker. The music in this show is genuinely beautiful, both in composition and performance. There are seriously moments where I felt like I was being treated to an intimate performance of an acclaimed music artist’s new song. I would describe it as a folk music horror rom com which is an unexpected and completely delightful blend. ... full review

A Haunting Revue II

I’ve now seen A Haunting Revue II twice with two different casts, and both experiences were excellent. That speaks not only to the strength of the performances and casting, but also to the quality of the writing. Seeing different actors interpret the material gave me a new appreciation for the relationships, betrayals, and emotional nuances within each piece. The entire evening was engaging, surprising, and highly enjoyable.... full review

It's rare when you get to have a totally UNIQUE theatrical experience, and that's exactly what we have here. No amount of words can describe the circus Maddie orchestrates with the help of a trunk full of dolls and her trusty margarita-thirsty producer Daniel. It's FUN and RIDICULOUS and SILLY and Maddie Mutations in the very best sense of the term.... full review

My Brother's Room

taylor smith · June 22, 2026 certified reviewer
Amidst the sardonic, vaguely anti-human artistic wave that floats further and further from humanity, My Brother’s Room is a reminder that one of the core powers of art is what is elevated by empathy and compassion. The script, already tight, is elevated by remarkably genuine performances. At the end, you’ll be shocked at how invested you got in just 70 minutes. And it’s got a character you’ll just love to hate ... full review

Big Maestro & Little Cello Boy

lissa rivera · June 22, 2026 certified reviewer
Big Maestro is a perfectly twisted take on the amorphous nature of art-making and the torture, randomness, and absurdity of perfectionism. Secretly a legitimate horror show, I often felt like I was trapped inside a Bergmanesque dream sequence. Funny, unsettling, and psychologically precise, it lingers long after it's over. ... full review
