I have had the pleasure of seeing Hot Yoga twice now: once as an audience member and once as a class participant. Both experiences were extraordinary. HOT YOGA is both a personal examination of self and society & a hilarious, heightened character piece. Absolutely insanely close to home but unfortunately my ‘father’ was just a capitalist ): Madi evolves her comedy to stage format, portraying a satirical rendition of the “alpha bro” manosphere breakdancing father of abandonment. With turns in the story to make this comedic portrayal into deep rooted grounds of a person dealing with a person dealing with the trauma of abandonment, a feelings of betrayal.... full review
