DOOFUS

Doofus was a wild, silly time in the best of ways. Cole has a sense of joy in how they approach every beat of this show, and it was genuine joy the entire time.... full review

With all of the misinformation from "sources" like Fox "news" and Prager "U" it is equally freeing and disturbing to hear the actual words of Douglass, X, & King spoken by their characters. I was tremendously moved and by the end I was also crushed when I realized which MLK Speech I was hearing.... full review

Bus People

Tamra is one of my favorite comedians, so I went into this expecting to see skilled character work about the riders of LA public transportation. And that was part of it, but this show is so much bigger than that. It's not hyperbole to say I was entranced. It's a fascinating blend of comedy, history, and dance, an homage to the people of Los Angeles and how they make their way in the city. One of the best shows I've seen this year!... full review

DADDY ISSUES

The piece is a love letter to the ghosts passed down over generations that haunt us all, where It seems the only way to escape them…is by inviting them in. Such is the discovery Waldner is offering to audiences with each of his carefully chosen words, and budding revelations. ... full review

"Lynnette's Hollywood Cabaret Party!" 2026!

Lynnette’s Cabaret Show is a masterclass in intimate storytelling, blending heartfelt personal stories with original music. The production transcends the typical musical revue by transforming the theater into an exclusive, high-energy party where the audience instantly feels like family. Her electric Presence commands the room with charisma, stage presence, and a warmth that disarms the audience the second the lights go up. Her original music is the beating heart of the evening, pairing beautiful... full review

CLUB CLOWN

An absolutely delightful hour of entertainment. This live directed clown show benefits from an excellent theme that draws you in from the moment it starts. Will does a great job playing the ringmaster and keeping the chaos at high levels throught. His own character is clearly defined and wonderfully playful. I can't imagine anyone walking away from the Club not having fun. This isn't some exclusive Sunset Strip club, but welcome to all and a not to be missed show at the Hollywood Fringe.... full review

The funny and bizarre of adventures of a young American woman trying to survive being famous in South Korea for being a young American woman in South Korea. UNPLUGGED ELECTRIC GUITAR

jonah weiland · June 22, 2026 certified reviewer
A tremendous piece of theater that uses space brilliantly. Intimate. Personal. Heartfelt and touching. Danny has written something deep, filled with subtext and sharp dialogue that says so much without saying it directly. He writes how people speak and how they express emotion - rarely directly, but with indirect cues and in subtle ways. The cast was sepctacular. All of them were fantastic, some of the best acting I saw at the Fringe, but a special mention of Jack Little is required who blew m... full review
