BURN SCAR

ellen snortland · June 22, 2026 certified reviewer
Wow, wow, wow!!! As a solo artist myself, I attend solo shows with great hope mixed with trepidation. I am also a writing coach. The writing and acting by Christine Dunford was so crisp, stellar, funny, and tragic at the same time. I am so sorry that it was scheduled for only 3 performances. I would have sent or taken everyone I could think of to see Burn Scar. I am also a wildfire survivor in Altadena. My life was also rocked by the January 7-8 2025 Southern California wildfires. I attended B... full review

Maybe It’s You

jorge-luis pallo · June 22, 2026 certified reviewer
Raw, funny, honest, and relatable. Julia Lopriore has created a one woman musical that is both laugh out loud funny and surprisingly moving. What impressed me most was her ability to balance comedy with vulnerability. One minute you're laughing at the absurdity of modern dating and the next you're recognizing something painfully true. The songs are catchy, the stories are entertaining, and Julia's voice is fantastic. Her breath support and stamina are especially impressive for a solo performer... full review

Good Boys Anonymous at the Hollywood Fringe Festival is a good must-see show that completely pulls you into the story.
