Milch

A tryptophan-induced fever dream for the ages, MILCH is a funny, campy, and surprisingly poignant exploration of perils of the underground sex work industry. The script and score have potential to become a cult-favorite alternative musical in the hands of more experienced directors, performers, and techs. Unfortunately, this production left much to be desired. It read like a small-town-high-school-student-led theatre club that took on too big a project for their resources and experience.... full review

LEO FROM RIO LATIN ICONS

holly shaw · June 22, 2026 certified reviewer
If you love Latin music RUN to this show! Hell, if you love music period you should run to this show! One of my all time favorite shows I've seen this year. Incredible performance of Latin music classics sung by Leo as though they had never been sung before. With such intense passion and commitment! I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this! Leo gives all his love to his performance! My friends and I were singing along at times to well-known lyrics, dancing in our seats, and brimming ... full review

THE LINCOLN DEBATE

A well-rehearsed cast packed with talent play off each other brilliantly. Script is thought-provoking with razor-sharp wit. It presents a clear point of view, yet respects the audience's ability to draw its own conclusions. Direction is excellent with impeccable pacing and energy throughout. Creative use of limited Fringe Fest set pieces, lighting and image projection is well done. This show is the pinnacle of what a Fringe show can be: strikingly original, remarkably provocative a... full review

The show was thoughtful and heartfelt, and explored complex questions about culture, past trauma and what family means. Both actors deliver sincere performances, you could feel the tension, and the story leaves plenty to think about afterward. I'd love to see this project continue to grow and evolve, it has a strong foundation. ... full review

In the Beginning

This show was beautifully written and performed!! It spoke to true human nature while we watched the first people struggle to understand their place in this world. The humorous moments were much appreciated and contrasted the heartbreak and turmoil the characters were thrust into perfectly. I laughed heartily, cried heavily, and was in awe at how relatable this tale as old as time could still be. I felt deeply connected to the characters. ... full review

From the first moment Roz greeted us onstage I knew I was going to enjoy this show. She is engaging and generously makes herself accessible to the room as a storyteller. We feel we are right there with her, when she nods at her neighbors, takes a trip to Africa, eats a bad dose of tiger ball soup. . .we are right there with her. In Search of Black People is a hilarious, but meaningful journey back to the center of the self.... full review

Put on your seatbelt. You’re about to go on a powerful ride! From the moment TL enters the stage, she has you hooked. With incredible power and vulnerability, sprinkled with sass and spice, we are taken on a journey of what most of us never have or will experience. Except for that we have. Although TL’s circumstances are different, the lived experience is universal; that of not feeling enough. And with TL’s story, we also learn (more) and get to understand about the deaf culture that most of... full review

Miss Magnolia Beaumont Goes to Provincetown

holly shaw · June 22, 2026 certified reviewer
I LOVED this show! Smart! Moving! Surprising! So much more than you think it's going to be. Miss Magnolia will make you wonder if this is the story of a possession, or a deeply personal revelation of the self - or both? From the first moment that Miss Magnolia starts to introduce herself, I was transfixed. What is happening here? Why is she in the body of a gay man vacationing in Provincetown? What ensues is as funny as you'd think (you try hooking up with a debutante watching your every move) bu... full review
