Strongly written and directed, Jesenski takes the audience straight to sacred ground and illustrates the struggle of God's plan versus selfish human desire. Only Mark could make a show where the premise is to be the worst possible comedy show imaginable and make it something so incredibly funny. His crowd work, as always, continues to be impeccable. She took us through an emontional journey of her lifelong dream to be a Broadway dancer, while working as a dresser to pay the bills. Her ability to weave in humor, heartache and raw emotion, funny and fun bits of humor, singing and danicing to tell her story was real and emotionally raw. This is probably the best show I saw at Fringe (so far) this year. Dance shows are always beautiful. Dancers are extraordinary. And no exception here. But most dance shows have nothing to say, or the message is so obtuse in the movement that all meaning is obscured by the dance itself. That is not the case here.
