Soleil Kohl is an experimental performance artist and producer based in Boulder, Colorado specializing in Clown and interactive theatre. Her work ranges from absurdist clown and character work to embodied physical theatre and satire, creating a refreshing mixture of physical comedy, crowd engagement, and authenticity. Soleil also leads CLOWN SLOP, a Colorado performance troupe that creates devised confrontational and bizarre clown, bouffon, and absurdist theatre. Soleil also runs the Boulder Clown Club, where she teaches workshops and runs community events. Soleil performs and produces shows all around Colorado, and has brought solo work to New York and Scotland.
