I really enjoyed both of these. The relationship between the mother and daughter Anna Lisa and Tammy was really terrific In the first scene. Not to take anything away from the mother and son characters or the rest of the cast. They were all really great. I just found myself getting glassy eyed during the mother daughter moments because you could feel the realness of what, I assume, the writer pulled from. And if I'm wrong, it was just very well written in general.... full review

A fantastic cast brought to life a poetic, in-and-out-of-present-time play that skillfully articulates the way grief moves us toward the truth. I thought Blackburn did a great job taking us on that road. Admitting that people are challenging to us, especially after they pass away, is a real act of courage, more so than when they're alive. Incredible performance by Tanner! He told his story with dignity and compassion. He was somehow able to talk about the most horrific events, and yet weave in the comic aspects too.
