Amazing Graves

I really enjoyed both of these. The relationship between the mother and daughter Anna Lisa and Tammy was really terrific In the first scene. Not to take anything away from the mother and son characters or the rest of the cast. They were all really great. I just found myself getting glassy eyed during the mother daughter moments because you could feel the realness of what, I assume, the writer pulled from. And if I'm wrong, it was just very well written in general.... full review

Three Eulogies for Tyson Miller

danny rocco · June 14, 2026 certified reviewer
A fantastic cast brought to life a poetic, in-and-out-of-present-time play that skillfully articulates the way grief moves us toward the truth. I thought Blackburn did a great job taking us on that road. Admitting that people are challenging to us, especially after they pass away, is a real act of courage, more so than when they're alive. Watching Quentin come to that bravery was moving. ... full review

Incredible performance by Tanner! He told his story with dignity and compassion. He was somehow able to talk about the most horrific events, and yet weave in the comic aspects too. He’s so talented in painting and cartoons. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him and his family.... full review

A very ambitious topic covered in the funniest, silliest most chaotic way possible. This would've been an excellent SNL skit. At 1:30 it's hard to keep up all those jokes going and going, but this cast found a way to make so much complicated history compelling and entertaining. ... full review

This was a fantastic one-woman show! I hadn’t been to a black box theater in several years. All of the theater I’ve seen lately has been big, Broadway shows. But this show was a lovely reminder of what I loved about the small theater experience in the first place. It was intimate, gripping, raw and beautiful.... full review

Grounded, whimsical, hilarious, and heartbreaking. This show dives headfirst into the complexities of trauma and healing around it. Dinosaurs so beautifully navigates lingering harm that lives in the body...and outside of it. Dinosaurs masterfully balances the line of comedy and drama with impeccably timed humor that doesn't dare to detract from the generous vulnerability that this piece demands.... full review
