Steve Szlaga
Steve Szlaga is a proud native of Detroit. He received a BA in Television from Columbia College Chicago, and would have had a minor in Acting if he hadn’t dropped Body Movement II. In 2007, he moved to LA where he studied improv, sketch, and the art of quitting stupid jobs.
Steve is an upper level student at the Groundlings, and a writer/performer at UCB where he writes for the house sketch team Nephew, and performs as part of the duo Medium Friends. He wrote and starred in both The Mysterious Affair at Mr Bendernagle’s Luau and his solo show, Steve Szlaga’s 23 Roommates.
When he isn’t trying desperately to make you laugh, he is a writing mentor for the Young Storytellers Foundation.
