Todd is such an attuned and likeable clown and this is such a cool production. I kept being surprised by the beats and it was absurd but all made sense in a way that Todd played deftly. ... full review

I laughed at this in a way that is sometimes hard for me to access. I was like out of breath gulping. It is crazy and so simple and smart and absurd and then real in a way that kept surprising me. Andy is so attuned yet free and a HOOT. ... full review

SO many games and bits packed in there, I can't imagine how to load this show in and out lol. I don't wanna spoil anything but I think the prop that most surprised me was a functional flip phone. All this fly wants is some love! Won't you give her some!!!... full review

Mandy Keen: MAGGIE

A fun, quirky narrative about the high stakes life of a fly! Great costumes, excellent, classic clown gags and tight movement work and tableaus! Best audience phone call of Hollywood Fringe (I say as someone with one in her own fringe show). ... full review

This was one of the best shows I've seen in a while. I enjoyed every minute of it, and was left wanting more in the best way. The cast was incredible, seamlessly moving from hilarious moments to scenes full of depth and care. I found myself laughing regularly, while also caring deeply about the experiences of each character. A huge bravo to all involved in the making of The Layover! ... full review

Tartuffe in 60 minutes

mark vigeant · June 15, 2026 certified reviewer
The lie is that this show actually ran at something like 55 minutes, which is crazy given how much content is packed in there. If you're a fan of Moliere and enjoy impressively swift entrances and exits, and dizzying back-and-forths, this may be your show!... full review

Reservoir Dolls: The Whole Bloody Affair

Lani Harms is not just a character actress but a world builder. The entire show was built magnificently. I gotta give props to the diector as well, you can tell they are a well oiled machine. The character acting was incredible, the funny bits kept coming and the costume and art of the show was fantastique. I know not much of Tarantinos films and dislike the man myself so I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was absolutely a feminist hilarious take on it all.... full review

This show is impeccably acted and really original. Although the dark themes might not be for everyone, the absurdity and sharp delivery of the cast is highly engaging from start to finish and a refreshing add to this year's Fringe lineup. Don't miss!... full review

Cirque Lunaire: a puppet debacle

albie selznick · June 15, 2026 certified reviewer
Not your daddy’s puppet show! Right from the beginning as these foul foul-mouthed misfit puppets kill the evil remaster and take over the circus looking to get their own wishes fulfilled, I was swept away and when these lopsided piecemeal puppets started discussing the Mountain vs Brianne of Tarth (from Game of Thrones) I knew this was MY kind of puppet show!... full review

Overall I thought it was Great! The beginning was a little tight as my wife and I were not sure what to expect and if this was going to be a serious or comedic play. Once the play settled for a bit, we were able to relax and see the wonderful story and talented acting right before or eyes. The play seemed to get better and better as it went along.... full review
