My over impression was that it was well written, educational, and very humorous. I wasn't too familiar with verticals but until watching the this play but I really enjoyed all aspects of it and it brought to light an issue about racial biased in theater and film....

Such a heartfelt and hilarious show. As someone who also lost his mother, I can 100% relate to the "worst day of your life" scenario and the desire to go back and "do over" your final day with your mother. Rachel Austin nails it. It's as if she went into my mind and put it on stage. It was a pleasantly cathartic story, and she gave a dynamite performance....

Phenomenal theater. The show holds your attention with sheer dynamism for the duration of the 60 minutes. The characters are well-fleshed out and authentic. They are familiar but not remotely cliche. They are terrifically inhabited by the cast; the acting was a standout element, which is a lot to say about a show so expertly directed and with such exciting, original writing. Full of laughs which never compromise the poignant and meaningful moments which punctuate the show. ...

Marie and Shelby's chemistry was tremendous, and while The Bone Lady very much drives the show, Shelby's character adds a sort of audience POV character in the mix that works really well and creates some nice comedic conflict which The Bone Lady handles with poise....

I loved this show. I laughed throughout, and yes, also cried, but pretty much never stopped laughing. It is so honest and insightful. Whether or not you've lost a parent, Dara gives a deep human experience with so many universals to reflect on. I'm going to be thinking about this for a long time!

I sprinted over to this show when my friend said he couldn't use his ticket, and I am so glad I did! A wild immersive concept where an entire audience helps control the fate of a lone hero in a live-action video game. Interaction and cooperation are essential to her survival and eventual victory over the big boss. Such an amazing idea brought to life so beautifully....
