Loved it! Pam Eberhardt and Dan Testa wrote and directed this chilling account of a call-in crises center that turns into its own crises. It’s not a screamfest it’s more harrowing because, not only could it happen, it’s inspired by Ted Bundy’s stint at the Seattle Crises Clinic Call Center in the 1970’s. This show was unexpected in the best of ways. Perhaps I didn't know what to expect, but I was not expecting this one-person show to be so introspective and humorous at the same time, drawing on Scott's life experiences. I wasn't expecting to see multiple versions of the solo performer on a screen. Fringe is so many things - one person shows, clown shows, experimental theater, traditional theater - whatever kind of show you're doing, it has to be either funny, deeply experimental, take wild swings, really go for your heart or be really surprising.
