Watching Cindy is Right Now is like getting in a bubble bath at the end of a long, hard day. Everything about this show is sweet and heartfelt in a way that leaves you smiling constantly. Elena Martinez sizzles (literally) as a clownish reinvention of Goody Proctor in this surprising clown extravaganza, delivering wild discoveries and laugh-out-loud immersive bits. The overarching conceit of Goody wanting to be seen as a witch alone is a hilarious premise, but Elena pushes this even further constantly subverting expectations of what scrutiny does to a person.
