Paper Flowers

Very well written play about the complexities of racial tension during ww2 and Japanese internment. Loved the use of space, the characters, & the acting! Special shoutout to the talented actress that played 2 roles in both future and past. Also, loved the inclusion of the Black American experience along side the Japanese American stories. Shoutout to the actress that played Georgia too, she was great! Definitely an intense watch at times, but an important story. Well done!... full review

Early Day is shameless Yogurtland propaganda and that is CORRECT!!! This show is both heartfelt and heartwarming. I was so happy for this cast and team of creatives and their deeply loving and wholesome show.... full review

I thought all of the actors did a fantastic job with the material they were given. My main issues comes with the attempted rape scene, which the show provides no warning for whatsoever. The scene itself is lengthy and not having any mention that there would be simulated acts of sexual violence is an extreme oversight. Truthfully had I not been sitting against the wall with a row full of people I would have left the theater. ... full review

Vote for Tom Ryan: One Last Time!

In a world saturated by truly awful politicians doing truly awful things, Vote for Tom Ryan manages to critique American Politics without dwelling on the negativity that could trigger most audience members. The story serves as satire of political corruption with enough distance from actual politics to craft a story that both has a message and is laugh-out-loud hilarious. The characters are so clear and well written that you can’t help fall in love with each of them despite their flaws. The cast’s... full review

ANXIETY THE MUSICAL! (do you like that title? is that okay?)

I loved this show! There is so much to unpack and this show has so much going for it! Hilarious, talented and genuine, Jasmine is an absolute delight and instantly relatable as a young woman dealing with anxiety and wanting desperately to find a solution to her "problem." Might you know how to help her? I loved the plane ride and the voice overs. I loved her songs which were expertly in synch with what felt and sounded like a live soundtrack. And though she says she's not a singer, Jasmine has bo... full review

As a professional comics creator of thirty years who already knew the story from people who worked with Stan, I loved every minute of this show. It’s good for people to know how important Jack is to our culture. If the team wants a second part to this series, I would gladly help them find financing for a play about Bill Finger and Bob Kane, and the origins of Batman. ... full review

Simply put: this was the best Fringe Show I’ve ever seen. The story is wildly entertaining and deeply nuanced. This brilliant script by Jessica Fisher masterfully unpacks heavy topics of sexual assault with twists, turns, and just the right amount of humor. The whole cast is locked in with performances that are somehow both natural and larger than life. The direction is bold and precise as the mounting conflicts build to a jaw dropping finale. I have never seen a play that left me with more quest... full review
