Katelyn Schiller is an amazingly skilled performer -- her performance was fast-paced, high in energy, and incredibly precise. Her fluency with the material was also much appreciated. The characters she created were funny, and sad -- they made me laugh out loud, and all broke my heart a little bit. There were moments (especially during the transition scenes, featuring the childlike character who holds the narrative together) where I felt a bit overwhelmed by method. But overall, this was a charming piece that sent me away with a smile on my face :)... full review

This piece defies categorisation! Katelyn herself described it as a 'dramedy' - but it's part fantasy, part dream-play, part fairytale, part comedy, part myth, part cabaret. She glides easily from genre to genre, as much as from character to character. She sings, she dances, she breaks the 4th wall...the 5th wall...the 6th wall...and she whirls us into contemplation of what it means to be happy. It's a smorgesbord of theatrical experience! Brava!... full review

Dearest Fringe community, One show remains of the charming, captivating, thought-provoking piece of ART that is "Murder Blood Bear Story." I urge you to go see it. I beg you to go see it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you see it! Katelyn Schiller, the writer and performer, is a mirthful creature who bounces around the stage with the grace of a ballerina, the control of a trained athlete, and the uninhibited wonder of a child. She is charismatic and kooky, and I adore her so. Go see her KILL it (pun intended, though don't let the title of this piece fool you into thinking that it's very dark or scary) at ‪#‎HFF2015‬. You won't regret it....unless you don't see it. Special shout out to Payden Ackerman, who brilliantly directed the show a... full review

Katelyn is captivating from the moment she walks onstage. She's so free, responsive, almost luminescent. This is a fascinating journey about a young woman searching for answers. It left me considering my own happiness in a different way. I loved the sound design and a fantastic wig! Remarkable show, go see it. ... full review

Murder Blood Bear Story is the rare one-person play that, while telling the stories of others, reveals more of the human core and spirit of the performer than a traditional solo show as confessional. Katelyn Schiller is a transcendent performer who is a true delight to witness and experience. You are in very capable hands as she leads you on a delightful and deep exploration happiness. Gloriously well done. Well-directed with a very conscious and resonant sound design. ... full review

Playful... Ethereal... Other worldly... BOOM! This show tickles you from the moment you walk in. Katelyn is such a wonderful nymph in search of happiness! Her honesty & vulnerability stayed with me far after watching it. This is not just a play -- it is an experience. Katelyn takes us with her on her search... enticing us with her playfulness... but keeping us with her raw emotion. Can't wait to see what she does next! THANK YOU!... full review
