A Peacock In The Rubble

Insightful, moving, and fun despite the complexity of the topic. I think that although this is about one facet of mental health, many people can find a way to relate to the feelings captured and playfully told in the show. Marissa delivers a complete story arc that challenges and inspires.... full review

Do you miss the hysterical sitcoms of the 90s? Will & Grace? Friends? Here is a live version brought into 2025. Full of laughs and heart with tight writing, pitch-perfect performances and when the Sh*t hits the fan in the conclusion you will be so happy you paid for your ticket. We need more theatre like this in LA. We desperately need to laugh right now and Otherwise, Engaged gives us what we need. ... full review

And What of the Children...

benjamin schwartz · June 09, 2025 certified reviewer
Overall chilling and deeply uncomfortable, "And What of the Children..." will most likely be unlike anything else you will see at Fringe this year. While the motifs challenge the deepest parts of our erotophobia, we are left with examining the humanistic choices of this family unit, made up of two brothers and a sister who have been establishing new lives while under supervision in a government witness protection program. Although sometimes the choices are surprising and bizarre, there is plen... full review

Holy Holy: The Birth of Disco

molly sharpe · June 09, 2025 certified reviewer
So funny and the perfect way to begin my Fringe viewing! This highly physical show makes good use of choreographed movement and the individual personalities/vibes of each of the seven (I think seven???) ensemble members. A series of absurd abstract sequences ultimately lead us to the promise of the title, and a heartfelt conclusion about the power of friendship. The combination of all the above elements resulted in a very funny show that was delightful to watch. ... full review

Magnet of Chaos takes you on a wild, hilarious and beautifully chaotic journey through Sarah Lazarus' brain. A technically advanced show that blows you away with how she interacts with her internal monologue, and does it in such a funny way. The show only got better as the songs came into the equation, which was such an impressive feat. Highly, highly recommend checking this show out. So tasteful, hilarious and visually awesome.... full review
