If this is the staged concert version of the show, I don't know that the Hudson Backstage could contain the energy level of a full production....

Loser! was such a pleasure to watch. I laughed and was moved by Rachel. This was a quality stand-up special with great pacing, humor, and heart. As someone who shares so much of her worries and relates so much to her experiences, it was greatly therapeutic for me. This only happened because she brought so much truth and vulnerability to her work. Rachel Edelstein may feel like a loser but she and her stand-up special are certainly winners. ...

i'm a junior in high school and i went to see this show not expecting much... i was BLOWN AWAY!! the cast is so talented and did such a great job executing such dark material. the material really blew me away too. it's such a relevant, impactful commentary on the never ending cycle of political disagreements over guns and it also brings such awareness to suicide, domestic violence, bullying, anxiety and depression, and other relevant topics that teens face today. regardless of who you are as an a...

I came into this show not knowing anything about Shelley Cooper or her compelling work. What I did know was that choosing Lotte Lenya as the person to pay homage to was a most unusual and bold choice. Anytime a performer tackles a real person and aims to tell their story, I tip my proverbial hat to them. And Cooper does not disappoint.
As a musical theatre junky, I knew of this award-winning character actress from Threepenny Opera, but James Bond fans will know her as Spectre agent Rosa Klebb...

The Jared Show is an incredibly fun watch that manages to blur the line between passion and obsession without outwardly taking itself seriously. You’ll be cracking up from the amazing performances by the cast members, while being simultaneously pulled into the chaotic perception of success through the eyes of an egotistical, yet deeply unfulfilled talk show host. This show is so much fun whether you choose to read into it or not, and it will definitely give you a good laugh!...

Wow. Just wow. I don't think I could do justice for how much this play impacted me. As a parent and educator, it touched me so deeply-- the issues are so relevant. It represents every perspective, both students, parents, and teachers alike surrounding the big issues of our time like gun violence and suicide. By the end of the play, I was sobbing and so was my husband. It adds even more of an impact that this play is performed completely by high school students. Not only were the performances touc...
