What's really impressive about Dead John is it's ability to take material that feels like a feature film and morph it into a stage musical. The cast is does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life and the music keeps your feet tapping from beginning to end. I was blown away by this show!! I already know this is going to be one of my favorite shows of Fringe this year. Sara is SUCH a talented actress, every moment is fully lived in & embodied, and the story flowed seamlessly. I felt like I was watching a movie (and I sincerely hope one day this WILL be a movie for me to watch, it felt cinematic!). Charlie was so connected and real while being SUCH a dumb dumb bro. What a charmer! He had us in the palm of his hands. Somehow Charlie made us love him then hate him then love him again even deeper.
