A scandalous and thought-provoking drama with sprinkles of dark humor (my fave!) that will keep you at the edge of your seat with reveal after reveal that continues to escalate the tension to a crescendo of epic proportions. In 90 minutes, Playback skewers romantic relationships, consent, toxic masculinity, public and private personas and the world of podcasting using that same medium as the vehicle for its critique. I got a flag and got to participate!! I was sold from the moment I took my seat! So fun, funny, and transparent! The way she took a life challenge, spilled all the tea and made it funny, vulnerable and a thrill of a seminar! Jackie has fantastic energy and dance moves too! You won't see Escape rooms the same after this and may side eye anyone that loves them excessively.
