Morpho Dance Fitness

I was captivated by this piece of work. Of course, I am sold on anything with dancing, absurdism, costume, and making fun of the impersonal pay wall that is group fitness classes. Spectacular work! ... full review

Whichever One You Feed

What starts out as an amusing bickering session among a pack of wolves arguing about who was responsible for the killing of the very delicious deer they are eating evolves into a sort of meditation on the need for a repudiation of violence, through empathy and understanding.... full review

A very powerful show! Ryan is a great performer and has written an amazing one man show. I was really riveted throughout the whole thing, in addition to being brought to tears, and laughing out loud. I really related to the family he described. It was a very personal and sometimes raw account, while amazingly still being very entertaining! ... full review

Barbie Smith: God's Favorite Tease

One of the most creative and engaging solo shows I have ever seen! Yamini expertly marries a character showcase with audience participation and it works flawlessly. The character of Barbie is over the top yet vulnerable, and she allows the audience to get to know her in such a short amount of time. Absolutely hilarious!... full review

In Search of Black People

All I can say is that this is a REALLY good show. Must see production. Roz is an incredibly storyteller that is engaging with her audience and keeps you captivated the entire time. It does everything a solo show should do and more. Feels like such a rehearsed and complete production, with great tech that supports the story. Kudos to the director of this production as well!... full review

Alex Nauta crushes once again. The show is full of games that a lot of performers could not pull off. He's so comfortable in both characters during the show that you can tell he's put a lot of thought and craft into making this show what it is today. He's so loose on stage and whenever something doesn't go how he's expecting it to he laughs at it which is so fun to watch. You GOTTA see this thing. ... full review

On the Harmful Effects of Tobacco -- a Comedy by Anton Chekhov

max charbonneau · June 08, 2026 certified reviewer
A stupid show for stupid people. Brian Byrne is a very talented clown who very believably plays a guy who has no idea what he's talking about. From his short pants to the weirdest combover I've ever seen, he bumbles around stage for a long time. It feels like every bit is coming to him for the first time which rules. He has a great rapport with the audience, and I was rooting for him!... full review

I was floored by this performance! Truly. The content, the execution, the set design- it was masterful. I was deeply moved, I laughed at times and it made me sit with myself in a way that was needed. You must see this fringe show, it’s genuinely a work of art and a peek into Destiny’s heart. ... full review

POSTER CHILD: How Charlie's Angels Kicked My Ass Out Of The Closet

David really knows how to tell a story and encapsulate a time period. I was laughing out loud with all of the 70's references and the humor peppered in with a story of his coming out journey that pulls at your heart strings. He is also a great actor and commanded the stage throughout the show. ... full review

Hot Stalker

Hot Stalker is the kind of show that keeps you delightfully off balance. The first half has you convinced that the title refers to the woman on stage, only for the second half to pull the rug out from under you and reveal a completely different reality. Equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking, the show masterfully blurs the line between truth and perception. Just when you think you've figured out what's real, another twist leaves you questioning everything!! The storytelling is edgy, vulnerable, ... full review

Sins of the father--and mother--haunt him as a father tries to atone, and mend the broken relationship with his daughter. ..with help from two clowns. Sound odd? No odder than real life. This honest, painful, hopeful play was just plain wonderful. Ann Noble's brilliant (yes, I used the "b" word) staging shows us the truth and the love of two damaged people as they look for a way out of years of anger and disappointment. ... full review
