Family Fries

This show is DERANGED in the best possible way. The Family Fries team built a world where anything was possible, you never knew who was walking through that door, who was dead, what Jake was going to do next. I was in from the jump. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf on steroids. Big big fan.... full review

Such a fun, heartfelt, heartbreaking story that perfectly reflected the nostalgia of being a kid in the 90’s. The moments where the chaotic silliness gave way to thoughtful stillness were effortless and I am not surprised this run had so many sold out performances. ... full review

Reshma’s clowning is deceptively simple in execution. Every glance, every movement, is momentous. This may have the simplest premise of any clown show - and for that reason is abundantly funny and captivating. She’s a genius folks... full review

Extremely witty, with so many laugh-out-loud moments that you might forget it's about a dark subject. Both leads were superb, and there wasn't a slow moment in the production. I definitely didn't expect such crisp writing and a basically simple plot that never got old or seemed to be repeating itself. Most of it felt very believable given all the silliness involved, thanks in part to the solid characterizations and performances.... full review

Exceptional. Linzy is extraordinary. The clowning is so precise and raucously funny, but the show strikes more than that - using the stage to also clue us in to innate prejudices and assumptions of identity. ... full review

Loved every minute of it. Henry Naylor perfectly captured the frenzy of tabloid journalism through both his writing and his performance, drawing the audience in immediately and not releasing them from his grasp until the very end, when he beautifully tied together this 1980s drama with our contemporary world. Highly recommend this show to anyone who wants to be taken on a comedic and dramatic ride that is only as funny as it is because it didn't happen to any of US!... full review

Ron Placone and Sara Kay Gadot shine in Termination Fee, a play that blends sharp wit with emotional depth. Ron delivers a dry, calculating, and darkly funny performance, undercut by a quiet ache that gives his character surprising vulnerability. In contrast, Sara brings a warmth and tenderness that balances the tone beautifully, grounding the story in genuine human connection. The play is laced with clever humor and makes a meaningful statement on humanity—thoughtful without ever tipping into pr... full review

Kelly manages to take a subject such as cancer and make us laugh with her on her journey. This storytelling show is funny, vulnerable, sometimes sad, and always earnest. I laughed and cried. Although it deals with serious subject matter and doesn't necessarily resolve itself, it is never self-pitying. I cannot recommend this enough. ... full review
