I really enjoyed hearing Linda's story. I loved the pictures she chose to share with the audience. I am inspired by her journey, and felt deeply connected to many of the themes. Excellent performances and good concept. I (humbly) feel that this show could benefit from some major edits, and finding a way to get the audience on CJ's side earlier. His character is not redeemable for much of the play, though the people around him love him in spite of his self-centered nature. I needed a Save the Cat moment to fall in love with CJ somewhere in the first third. I want an arc, but I also need to love him or a piece of him. I was happy with the resolution of the piece. This show is a truly stellar look at what it means to be human, and to address both who we are... and who we were. The sci-fi setting is carefully designed and intricately planned to a degree that makes the show fiercely believable and immersive, the character depth is stunning and heart-breaking, and Joshua Verges and Victoria Gluchowski's performances are positively magnetic and absorbing.
