White Lilies is a concise, well-written one-act drama that is grounded in stellar performances from its leads, Andre Cazenave and JC Best. Between them, the two actors bring a depth of relationship to the brothers that they play, making every minute of the play's hour engaging. The script gives the actors room to shine in the back-and-forth of its dialogue, and it includes a touch of surrealism that works well to heighten the impact of its psychological themes. Eliza is so wonderfully charming, you can't help but root for her on stage. I felt very seen as a fellow Zilennial with some poignant and oddly specific references. I LOVE collage-style shows and this really brought together a ton of different elements. Eliza carries everything with humor and lightness, even some deeper topics she holds lightly to invite audiences in, and the whole show has such a great balance between being delusional enough to follow your dreams while carrying a self-awareness ...
