Women who eat was a thrilling delight. From the very beginning I was enthralled with the characters, writing, production design, pacing, etc. I felt a deep connection to each of the girls - it was a definite ode to womanhood no matter your story. This is one Fringe show you CANNOT miss this year! I’m still not over it. Such a beautiful show written by James Byous and delivered with such a perfect mix of rock and roll and utter vulnerability. The cast is filled with some of the best singers in the city and the songs are outrageously good. A musical about addiction done in a completely fresh and original way that had me in tears by the end. This show is Amphetamaic. Hog Wild. A feat of Rustic, Red-blooded, Resplendence. Sam is a performer of unmatched energy and presence, with a lot of love for the craft of clown and a spirit of pure hype. How many beers did she chug during this show? Impossible to know, but it didn't stop her from delivering an hour of belly-laughs, delightfully absurd theatrical constructs, and a sobering reminiscence on love and the stories make life feel special. It’s amazing to me that this is the ONLY show in Fringe with a cast of children, and they certainly deliver! Producing theatre with children is not an easy undertaking, but the risk pays off here! The show puts a fresh spin on a well-known story, modernizing it just enough so it feels relevant but still wholesome and fanciful. Junru is an artist to the fullest extent. It was incredible to experience her story through words, through circus and through dance. This is why I come to Fringe! Cherry Poppins always brings solid musical comedy, and this show is no exception. A love letter to the original movie, it delivers the perfect amount of camp, rock and roll vocals, killer choreo, and laugh out loud antics. Little Chaos at Cat's Crawl is one of my top ten Fringe shows this year. I was completely blown away. The production unfolds like a dream—fluid, surreal, and emotionally resonant in a way that's difficult to describe but impossible to forget. Olga’s work here is gorgeous. Raw, gut-wrenching, ultimately hopeful. Interweaving the past & present seamlessly. Between her incredible writing and magical performance, I was transported along with her. Relating in a way only a mother can. This show was an ADVENTURE. Felt very communal as the audience was encouraged to interact with the performer. The pace was perfect, the character improv was S-tier and the laughs were loud & consistent the whole show. Unique and cohesive. Loved it, would see again.... full review
