I loooove this show! It’s SO spooky, and left me wondering why I don’t see more ghost storytelling shows. This show feels like someone telling you their scariest real ghost story, while a mirror breaks behind you. Jon’s passion for the macabre is palpable in this show, and all the scary (and hilarious) elements make this show highly entertaining. This show is done with such talent and moxy its a must see. With the help of the amazing Greg Hoffman on keys, Harper has turned her funny spontaneous and exciting stand-up into a musical comedy with songs so good and ear wormy that the chorus of “only online” is still running through my head on repeat and I don't mind a bit. Fantastic show! Harper is charming, vulnerable, WILD, and hilarious. Greg is exceptionally talented on the keys with such a grounded presence through this ride. This show is phenomenal! Cara has a command of her story that instantly makes you feel at ease as you go on a difficult & emotional journey with her. She punctuates her painful memories with pictures of all the weird penises she’s received from random men on the internet, which feels cathartic to laugh at. This show prompted a very interesting conversation with my husband about why men send unsolicited dick pics, and I’m sure this show will spur many more important conversations. Wow. The show drew me into this relationship between humanity and AI in a way I was not expecting. The push and pull of the affection from the human side was difficult to watch. The first ten minutes of this show are so original, so funny, so captivating I cannot stop thinking about it. Jackie is incredibly talented and delightful to watch.  And later in the show, when Jackie picks up her accordion, a whole new, hilarious side emerges.   Jackie is clowning to explore deeper and scarier ideas, and I am so curious to see this developed more. I came home so upset about the misery I was put through by all the demons, and got in a big argument with my partner. I slept in the courtyard last night. Pleshinger’s writing vacillates from acerbic wit to transportive prose in a delicate and refined way, while still delivering the necessary elements of horror and a gutwrenching twist. Like no other show I've seen at the Hollywood Fringe this year. Such emotional depth in a piece which also seeks to educate and share a deeply personal family story about Vivi's family's escape from Vietnam as the war came to a close. A harrowing tale you can't help but get swept up in and Vivi is so magnetic and holds the audience with such care and an open heart.
