Jon Schnitzer's "Something Spooky" is not only so satisfyingly spooky, it's also utterly hilarious and heartwarming (love you Bubbie Charlotte!) as he masterfully weaves this true tale of both the natural and supernatural elements that created both tears and bonds between him, his family and the spirit world. His usage of props, shadows/light, video, silhouettes, EMF readers/dowsing rods, audience interaction, etc really brings his story to life. ... full review

Great show! Had a lot more fun that I expected. Really leaned into the campiness of the premise while taking itself seriously enough for you to still care. You don’t often see fringe shows that make you want the longer version. If you were doing a longer version I would like to see more from underutilized actors. I felt like I was in a Sabrina Carpenter music video in the best way. It was campy, ridiculous, random, fun, sexy, and an overall blast. I especially loved Ben and Bex. So, this was my first theater play since high school, and naturally, I was more impressed with the outcome of stage presence. At first, it was confusing because I didn’t understand the title. However, as the different scenes progressed, I started to grasp the meaning. The parts that were funny were genuinely hilarious.
