Coffee Date is the kind of play that pulls you in from the very beginning. You find yourself rooting for every character, becoming emotionally invested in their journeys, and feeling completely immersed in the world of the show. Loved the way Elena built her connections with the crowd both through individual interactions and playing with "mob" mentality too! There were points where she'd make certain actions to get a certain reaction out of us as her audience, and every time she did, I felt we were all on the same page (or as much as she wanted us to be at least ;-). By the end of the performance, we were her personal orchestra and she was able to conduct us through all of the reactions she had taught us during the show.... full review
