This show is so rad! A whirlwind of wildly beautiful story telling because it is so REAL! Wow. Such a great take on life, liberty, freedom, horniness and speed. This was a fun show indeed. This is a very different Mrs. Claus than we are used to seeing but it worked. Mrs. Claus decides to tell her side of the story and lets it all "out". Comedy is what this show is and the clips used really helped tell her story. The secrets of Christmas town are told through her eyes while she is having her eyes done in Beverly Hills. LOL! One of the funniest thing I've seen at fringe ever. I thought going into this at the 20-30 minute mark I'd get bored but NOPE. Strong and comedic and exciting throughout. They explored these topics in such playful and fun ways -relaly brought the audience along and the topics are so ripe for comedy. Really well done. Clowning with heart! Sam is a master performer who doesn't half-ass anything- she goes full-on in whatever direction she's headed, transforming the space - and transporting the audience - into her world. She uses every tool/device possible (her physicality, voice, props, sound cues and word choice) to be Country Girl and it's a lesson in clowning to watch her. Perimenoparty was such a fun ride of a show. As I near perimenopause it's always enjoyable and eye opening to hear other women's experiences and this was such a fun way to hear about Irene's experience. Her inhibitions? Open. HANDS DOWN - the most compelling piece of theatre at this year's Fringe! And it all begins with a pack of wolves dining over their latest kill. Sounds simple enough. However, what happens when one member starts asking existential questions about who/what they are? Who defines that? Humans? Nature? Could this pack of wolves make a conscientious choice to be more like other animals who get along and don't frighten each other?
