An incredibly fun and very well written show. The highs were hilarious and the lows were absolutely heartbreaking; "Sleeping Around" has everything you could ever want. I was moved by the acting and engaged with the story. This is a must see at Fringe!... full review

An alternately funny and sympathetic look at relationships (or lack thereof) via a train of two-person vignettes, each of which inherits one character from the prior one. An interesting side effect is that a character who seems to be an interloper or heartless antagonist in one scene can show an inner depth in the next. The dialogue is sharp, the humor funny, and thank god you don't actually see anyone's schlong. With each vignette is about ten minutes and an hour running time overall, this show is well worth the modest commitment of attention span. Kudos to Theater Unleashed on a strong delivery. ... full review

An extremely tight, well-written and well-acted show. Each of the talented actors got to shine in two entirely distinct ways, as they play one particular angle in one scene, and a wholly different angle in the scene immediately following. Superstar Greg Crafts, for instance kills with comedy in one scene then kills with heartbreak in the next. Major admiration and props for all.... full review

Sleeping Around is the true definition of an ensemble show, with each actor playing the same role in two very different scenes. There are no star turns, but cast members bravely immerse themselves into their characters, warts and all. Full review at "original article."... full review

Anyone who has attempted to navigate online dating will appreciate this look at how intertwined all of our lives have become. Each scene in this one act concerns a couple, with one member of each couple proceeding into the next scene with a different partner. No situation is exactly the same and yet each seems so familiar. From a casual hook-up with no names exchanged, we go on to meet that man's wife who is suffering from cancer and has encouraged him to go out and find his next lover so he won't be alone. Tender and heart-wrenching. We then watch as this woman hooks up with a young bartender who turns out to be a virgin. Next the bartender hopes to use he new found lovemaking skills on a bubble-headed blonde. Then it's the blond... full review

Great show! I missed the first scene though. My favorite was the scene transitions. I liked that they made it part of the show when most shows just scramble to change the set.... full review

Wow! What an insightful commentary on love, relationships and the need to be connected. Theatre Unleashed does a great job of showing us the unpredictable reality of finding and maintaining emotional connections in today's world while dealing with conflicting societal expectations and emotional insecurities. The story and the direction were great and the acting was incredible! There was something and probably several things that everyone could relate to regardless of your age or relationship experience. The hour seemed like 15 minutes and I wish I could see it again. Can't wait to see what Theatre Unleashed does next!... full review

This play definitely left me wanting more. Stories involving sex can get mired in the easy score of titillating or shocking without purpose. None of that happened here. The vignettes were a thought provoking treatment of social mores and also how sex can play out in unexpected circumstances. The actors perfectly complimented each other. I really enjoyed this and would give it my highest recommendation. ... full review

I laughed, I cried, I touched myself. It was a lovely evening for everyone involved except for the older couple sitting next to me. 5/5 would eat out again.... full review

This show has a lot more depth than the title, Sleeping Around, suggests. Instead of focusing on glib and sex, the play tackled some very real relationship problems and gray issues. The cast did a great job with this script, with each character clearly defined and different from one another. The entire audience was laughing at every comedic moment and touched by the dramatic ones. A very worthy production that is as thought-provoking as it is entertaining.... full review
