THE RIDE is a tale about struggling to reconcile seemingly conflicting identities: Gay, Arab, and Muslim. After being outed publicly in the LA Times, Ramy’s relationship with his family becomes strained as does his faith in God, sending him down a dark hole where he loses touch with his true self.

Through the use of song, mulitmedia, humor and multi character embodiment; she explores, questions and challengs our beliefs and social mores surrounding identity and self esteem while showing that it's never too late to comeback and find one's self-worth.
