A very beautiful, touching piece of theatre. What moved me the most, was that this was a story that put two queer men in the focus, but never resorted to the tropes of typical queer stories. It was a slice of life, and refreshing to see queer people not be tragically struck down by disease, or their relationship torn apart by cheating, or the other stereotypical staples. I felt so connected, and moved, and the entire cast did a great job. The characters genuinely loved each other and worked through their obstacles, because of their love....

In a festival filled with solo shows, cabarets, sketch shows and musicals (all great and welcome, btw), it was delightful to see a simple...play. A beautiful love story, no less, that imagines Andy and Sid from "Toy Story," after their childhood run-ins, falling for one another and working out their relationship well into adulthood. With gentle, grounded performances from the two leads and thoughtful, well paced direction (and script adaptation) from Lanchi Le, this play was touching, funny and very entertaining....

I’m sorry I saw the last performance of this surprisingly wonderful play last night. It was a surprise because one rarely gets to see a work so genuinely moving, funny and sweet in the theater much less at a Fringe festival where the emphasis is usually on experimentation. ...

UNDER THE TABLE and dreaming is a gem of a play, full of romance, high stakes, and the splendor of human connection. I laughed, I cried, I was overjoyed at what they did with this small, intimate story that captured the sweep of LIFE....

"Under the Table and Dreaming" is such a touching story. I wasn't sure how I would like a Toy Story Fanfic adaptation, but it was so well done and the cast so perfectly fitted, that it was seamless and very natural! A lovely coming-of-age story.
