Enormous Things: The Musical

The amount this show made me believe in art again was ... an enormous amount. The acting, singing, story, puppetry... I felt like I was a kid again, and as much as I laughed, I also felt permission to color outside the lines in my own adult life. I would see this show as many times as they'd let me, and I have a parasocial relationship with Klaus now. I don't make the rules....

A great piece to show off all the things that Scott can do as a performer, not the least of which was his ability to do crowd work. The video elements accentuated the theme tension of the story, but mostly, this felt like a grand event whose purpose was to get to know Scott. And we really did. Neither illness nor technical difficulties kept Scott from reaching our hearts....

I had the absolute pleasure of being an audience member for closing night of “Hold That Thought While I scream.” My only regret is that seeing the closing night performance means I can’t tell everyone I know and love that they must immediately RUN to see it!
This show was truly unique and compelling, from the intriguing and layered story to the exceptional acting by both of the leads. I was quite literally on the edge of my seat the entire time just waiting for the story to unfold, and it surpr...

It's in the name! This show is GOOD (y)!! Elena is the master of engaging the audience, I was fully in, and the first half hour is almost completely silent. She just oozes mischief and you can tell that she is having an absolute blast up there, making it easy to join in with her on the fun. One of my fave shows this Fest! ...

Cirque Lunaire: A Puppet Debacle is amazingly bizarre in the best possible way — dark, funny, creative, and addicting to watch. It was cleverly written, beautifully strange, and truly one of a kind. Every scene felt like a surprise, and I couldn’t wait to see what each character would do next.
This was my second time seeing the show, and I honestly thought it was even better than the first. Chaos + creativity = Cirque Lunaire. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻...

The most fun I've had in a while! Captures the feeling of the movie while being a piece that can stand on its own. The cast was incredible! They were so accurate to their film counterparts, without falling into the trap of strict interpretation. The writing was smart and funny, and the music highlighted the film's absurdity. ...

It is no surprise that this innovative show arrived with accolades from other Fringe Festivals. The absurd relationship between a man (Prith Khalsa) and his banana. Wonderfully comedic and surprisingly touching, Prith takes us on a relationship journey that bends the laws of believability yet feels comforting and familiar. It is amazing that this is his first solo effort, but I am certain it won't be his last. It was simply pure comedic excellence....

This show was magic to me! Not only did I get to experience an honest to goodness parody of an old-timey Melodrama, but Suzanne Seyfi's smart and hilarious script made sure that if you had NEVER seen a Melodrama before, you would still enjoy the heck out if this show. Every member of the cast was chewing the scenery with vigor. I was absolutely delighted by this family friendly romp. I can't wait to see what this ensemble does next, but I hope Pining at the Prickly Pear Patch has another life pos...
