Johnny Cannizzaro is such a talent. His show will resonate for anyone who’s ever contemplated their dreams, struggled with perseverance and yearned to find their true identity. Johnny’s writing is profound and full of humor, honesty, raunch and music. Also, his Sylvester Stallone story is *chef’s kiss*. No spoilers. Go see it for yourself!...

Strongly written and directed, Jesenski takes the audience straight to sacred ground and illustrates the struggle of God's plan versus selfish human desire. I was especially entranced with Lily Rose Wadsworth's portrayal of Evangline. She appeared so young, and naive, and innocent - her desperation made sense, and while she hiccupped a couple lines, she never broke character or lost the emotion driving her actions. Both actors were very strong considering the subject matter, and I was glued to th...

A hilarious premise executed to perfection by a dynamic cast and amazing creative team! The jokes come at you a mile a minute and the heartfelt moments are surprisingly sweet. I think if every dude-bro podcaster would see this show and listen to his inner musical theatre kid, Mike Hadge could save the world!...

Only Mark could make a show where the premise is to be the worst possible comedy show imaginable and make it something so incredibly funny. His crowd work, as always, continues to be impeccable. In the first part of the show, as he asks the audiences their sins, and by the end of his satanic Q&A people were practically begging to tell him their deepest, darkest secrets because of his charm and humor.
In the second, a band of his devils (other incredible performers) come out to enact the absol...

What starts as a fun sexy teen hookup show has immense depth that I didn't see coming. I absolutely loved the tonal shift and messaging behind the play. The writer and actor, Ellen Relac, is brimming with talent in the way her story is laid out and her stunning performance. Don't judge a book by it's cover, this show is so much more than what you may think....

She took us through an emontional journey of her lifelong dream to be a Broadway dancer, while working as a dresser to pay the bills. Her ability to weave in humor, heartache and raw emotion, funny and fun bits of humor, singing and danicing to tell her story was real and emotionally raw. We felt her emotions and as an audience cheered for her as she found her voice in writing and performing this exceptional, one woman show. I think everyone came away knowing that this was not the last we woul...

This is probably the best show I saw at Fringe (so far) this year.
Dance shows are always beautiful. Dancers are extraordinary. And no exception here. But most dance shows have nothing to say, or the message is so obtuse in the movement that all meaning is obscured by the dance itself.
That is not the case here. Here the dance is driven by and supports a very strong narrative.
From beginning to end the whole show is about what it is to be a woman who has the audacity to get older. The indig...

i thought it was a fun watch, really funny, and loved the puppetry. The writing was on point, and as a viewer i felt it had very strong and professional writer and director pushing the story forward, as the actors truly moved around the space that made me believe this was really inspired by genius. it felt that the research behind the play by incorporating things that are good, great, and perfect. and that the driving story on Eve's journey was a hunt for perfection which in the writing and actin...

Daring piece of theater. The playwright asks all the questions that we (those who seek our joy, our kicks, and our living pursuing dreams) try to avoid. It really is so easy to not do the thing you love! And so easy to forget why you love it. And you haven’t had some kind of great success yet, what does that say about you? About whether you should do it or not? And as you age and accrue responsibilities and baggage and perspective and people to which you are accountable besides yourself, you real...
