A wonderfully executed and beautiful stage play about two people trying to navigate the pain of their past while simultaneously being confronted with a ticking clock on their potential mortality (by the hand of space aliens, no less).
Strange Beings dives headfirst into the uncomfortable pursuit of closure and what it means to finally demand it. Guided by the incredible writing and direction of Nicole Knudsen, Joshua Verges and Victoria Gluchoski deliver masterful performances as Caleb and Min...

I wasn't sure what to expect when I went to see Johnny Cannizzaro's show, but I could't have been more pleased with what transpired in the next hour and a half. He can do it all. Writing, acting, accents, piano playing, and even a little bit of magic, although the whole show was magic. The show had emotional depth, humor, and compelling storytelling drawing the audience into his world. What ulitmately make this production memorable it it's emotional resonance. It succeeds not only as entertainmen...

Madi’s show made me second guess posting my kind and loving dad on Instagram for his birthday 😣
No but fr this was so good the form was perfect the writing was great Madi and Avery’s presence really held the audience - and I loved the ways that the show sat in serious moments, while also never becoming self indulgent (thanks to so many great and undercutting comedic moments)

With an old vaudeville style presentation, these two tell a very modern, raunchy, hilarious series of stories and tie it all up with a big beautiful bow. It's ridiculous and at times shocking - I didn't know if my face was more red from laughing or blushing. But its underlying heart is what melds the whole show together, making this story hour fly by. I wanted more! See see see it...

Second Rodeo was one of my favorite productions of this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival and is absolutely one of the shows to beat. Every element of the production worked together seamlessly: the writing was smart and emotionally resonant, the performances were exceptional, the direction was confident and inventive, and the staging elevated the storytelling in exciting ways. More than anything, the show reminded me how powerful theater can be when talented artists trust one another and commit fu...
