Inventive, engaging, thought provoking without being over the top. Cylie is a talented and expressive performer, the show she wrote is creative and her performance was magnetic. It's melancholy, hopeful and brave. The character of Jackie stirred a lot of emotions in me. I genuinely cared about her, worried about her, was pulled in by her. This show was not formulaic at all. Kudos for White Lilies! The play is a gripping two-hander (well, maaaaybe a three-hander ; ) ) centering around the fragile bonds of family.
