Some of the most fun I've had at a musical in a long time! It's giving Six meets RENT and I can't wait to sing along to the soundtrack in my car one day! Amazing beltresses, sick score, and tight book. If it wasn't sold out I'd attend again!...

I was very impressed with Dead John. The music was fantastic and the book and lyrics complemented the score. It was a great idea to cast an all woman production, and the actors did a good job of bringing the story to life. I could definitely see Dead John going on to regional theatre and eventually Broadway. The only things I think were missing was a good sound system and more seating to accommodate a bigger audience for the sold-out show....

Johnny is an incredible actor. His character work, comes from a place of truth for him and his belief in these characters, create a conversation with his audience. They way his characters interacted with the other actors on stage was fun and whimsical at times and other times, showed us his vulnerability which was a delight to see. ...

If you have ever worked on a vertical then this show if for you. I was hooked the themes of race, cross cultural influence, representation and morality in this play, not jus the comedic moments. Dee succeeds in putting forth his intention and purpose as a creator with nuance and humor. The execution and message is there. The acting is not forced, it's simple and almost effortless which allows the audience to further fall into the story. The audience I was in really enjoyed themselves, especially ...

One of my favorite shows at the fringe. I want to see this play further developed into an hour or longer. I was thinking about the show's themes long after the curtain call. We can be our own worst enemy and with that observation, how do we remain self compassionate - especially when it comes to being vulnerable when creating (writing in this case). I really wanted another 30 minutes to this show. It is a perfect example of a fringe show that starts as an idea, gets unpacked and then when exposed...

The show was absolutely fantastic. The writing, directing and performances were truly amazing. But above all that— they took such a unique, unexpected take on a classic and made it unbelievably relevant to today’s journey of working as an artist in Hollywood. Tons of laughs, and a real human touch “wink”...

Dara's show is really really special. It's a very funny and very tender look at the complicated relationships we sometimes have with our parents / loved ones, and how those feelings can further complicate with unexpected passings. I loved this show when I saw it a few months ago and I loved it even more when I saw it again during Fringe. A MUST see. ...
