A beautifully crafted two-hander that takes what you think you know about "the other side" and turns it on it's head. Powerfully empathetic performances, beautiful direction, and a tight script take what could have been a standard diatribe about politics in the COVID era and makes you reassess your beliefs. ...

DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW
This show is a tour de force for both of these actors and can not be missed. You can't take your eyes off them as they push this story of grief and rage forward. Nedra Gallegos and Scott Leggett never hit a false note in this raw and emotional script. Leggett's use and understanding of the power of stillness is arresting and Gallegos perfect playing of a unsympathetic character that we can't help but to sympathize with....

This is an extremely effective, brilliantly acted, not to be missed show. The actors sweat blood and tears on that stage, both delivering astonishing, heart breaking performances. Some of the best acting and writing I’ve seen in many years of Fringe. Get your ticket now before this sells out....

This show is superb! A perfect Fringe show. Only 45 minutes long but incredibly powerful, with two fantastic actors. If you want a master class in acting, go see Nedra Gallegos and Scott Leggett. Two actors, two chairs, a glass of wine ... that's all that's needed to completely draw you in and keep you fully engrossed. The show is funny, searing, hard-hitting, charming, well-written and the acting is absolutely top notch. ...

“Is this country for real?” is one of a few central questions at the heart of this human horror show, tucked neatly in an avalanche of moments that accelerate beautifully to its climax. It’s a no hold’s barred story of our America now, for better or worse. Sometimes audiences need to be reminded just how effective the medium of theatre can be in purging all the toxins of our country’s collective psychosis. “If I’m good” is a gloriously sobering reminder.
A lot of high accolades get thrown liberally around in fringe reviews: “ MUST SEE“ “PHENOMENAL” “BRILLIANT” etc.. I’ve been participating in Fringe for the last 12 years so I know how rarely shows, in reality, are any of those things…but this show is. And in particular, the performance ...

A very tough but rewarding hike through the curent American divide. A show that starts in a manner that feels like it will be edgy (but in the end good hearted jabs) on our current red and blue metalties. As it proceeds forward it slowly, painfully, but beautifully blossoms into a meditation on the addiction of rage, the need to be righetous, and how these qualities blind and deafen us to others humanity as well as our own. Well worth seeing. ...
