A delightfully joyous recollection of Brendan Hunt’s experiences that had me laughing, crying, and laughing again all in a short 50 minute experience. Brendan Hunt tells his story with the glitz, the glam, and the darkness that has clearly created this very funny and self-reflective entertainer who paints his euro-trash past on stage with dance, a slide show, and humor that can make the most stone-faced grin. The standing ovation at the end of the show was more than deserved, and if the remainder of his shows were not already sold out (for good reason) I would go again and again.... full review

Brendan Hunt is national treasure - a coming of age story of finding ones self in five very formative years in Amsterdam. Like many who came to see Brendan, I am a fan of Ted Lasso, particularly Coach Beard. It was exciting seeing him live, and it was a lot of fun to learn how similar Beard is to Brendan. It's damn impressive to watch someone hold an audience's attention for 45 continuous minutes, but Brendan is an expert storyteller, and hearing these true tales of a life story was a riot. I was reminded of some of my favorite stand-up comedy specials that are less joke-joke-joke, and more of a weaving narrative of wonderfully silly anecdotes. ... full review
