Hunt takes his audience along on Mister Toad’s wild ride down Alice’s rabbit hole with Hunter S. Thompson as his co-pilot and William Burroughs in charge of the mid-flight snacks.... A Platinum Medal!... full review

A wonderful take on measuring the changes in one's young life. Discovering a world previously unknown to you and being ready, willing and able to embrace the good and forget (or deal with) the shitty. Loved it.... full review

Brendan's show is a perfect encapsulation if Brendan as a person: warm, vulnerable, unpredictable, and life affirming. Brendan is a rare performer who you feel that you see his soul deeply when you watch him, and who shows you that with courage and positivity.... full review

The perfect mix of a one-person show and stand up comedy. It's engaging the whole way thru. Genuine laughs and interesting stories from a master writer/performer.... full review

Brendan Hunt is national treasure - a coming of age story of finding ones self in five very formative years in Amsterdam. Drop dead funny - no surprise there - but this show supplied a lot of deep belly laughs that had a full house roaring. Hunt an engaging performer does not disappoint. SEE THIS SHOW!... full review

Like many who came to see Brendan, I am a fan of Ted Lasso, particularly Coach Beard. It was exciting seeing him live, and it was a lot of fun to learn how similar Beard is to Brendan. It's damn impressive to watch someone hold an audience's attention for 45 continuous minutes, but Brendan is an expert storyteller, and hearing these true tales of a life story was a riot. I was reminded of some of my favorite stand-up comedy specials that are less joke-joke-joke, and more of a weaving narrative of wonderfully silly anecdotes. ... full review

I was curious what it would be like to see one of my favorite actors ever NOT playing a role in this, his autobiographical solo show… Would I feel deprived of his unpredictable characterizations? Would I be distracted by a *certain* TV show’s cultural impact? Worse yet, would I find myself comparing him to the endlessly entertaining fictional incarnations he’s brought to life in the past, and feel maybe…disappointed? The answer: No no and feck no. What I received was a thrill ride so hilarious and uncensored that I got a dyed-in-the-wool comedian’s backstage pass to what was essentially a rock show of Europe’s most titillating Mecca of Excess. His tale is one of mad youth, budding local fame, discovery of craft, love and lust…oh yes, ... full review
