Nick Pupo is charming. Really smart. Really funny. The show is both funny and sad, poignant and pointless. Honest to the point of brutality. One problem, Nick Pupo is a liar and in case you didn't know, it sucks to be a junkie. Pupo tells us, as audience the truths that he couldn't tell those he loves. To them he lies, because that's what junkies do, they lie. They lie to themselves and to everyone around them. This story is told with such grace and humor. We welcome the laughs, we need them. Pupo has just a wonderful sense of self in his story. In a world where so many are lost, we are happy and hopeful that Pupo has come out the other side. That he has been able to redeem and reinvent himself. The fact that he's just so good at it is ... full review

This show is excellent in every way! It’s funny and moving - exactly what you’d want from a great fringe show! The writing is sharp, the performance is raw and deeply honest and delivered in a very polished way. You can tell a tremendous amount of work went into it. You’ll definitely laugh, you may cry and you’ll likely leave with a greater sense of empathy and understanding for those who’ve struggled with substance abuse and other issues. I can’t recommend it enough. ... full review

WOW! What a beautiful, brilliant, unique show. Nick is an EXCEPTIONAL storyteller. In a very practical way, but also in a deep "stories are how we reflect on our humanity and evolve" sort of way. He's vulnerable, honest, self aware, wise, and absolutely hysterical. His comedic timing is impeccable. His joke set ups are natural and clever. His dramatic instinct is made all the more poignant by disarming us all with laughter. I felt so safe in his storytelling and left reflecting on the power of friendship and thinking about what it means to be known. A wonderful show, DO NOT MISS IT!... full review
