The charismatic Nick did an incredible job laying out the darkness of addiction with a proper level of humor, insanity, and coolness. The play made me reflect on the power of friendship, the consequences of lying, how one gets into heroine, and how amazing Nick is as a writer/ actor. He gave us just the right amount of pieces to follow him on a journey of torture and relief. I felt comfortable being carried by him in the show. This needs to be a Netflix Special.... full review

Hilarious, earnest and edgy! I loved Nick’s performance, he takes excellent care of the audience in his storytelling and it’s a ride highly worth taking! I left the theater moved, nostalgic for my childhood best friend and hopeful for second chances. ... full review

Brave, bold storytelling at its finest, Nick Pupo: Addicted has it all. Pupo, a consummate performer, lays his history bare on stage displaying pure vulnerability and hilarious comedic rejoinders inviting the audience to empathize and laugh at his pain all at once. His truly remarkable, and oft times suspenseful, stories are at turns shocking and slapstick making his daily victories over addiction that much more rewarding. Buckle up, you're in for an incredible ride. ... full review

I loved this show. Nick is a funny, intelligent, and charming storyteller. And person. So many dark, heartfelt, and honest moments. I laughed throughout but ultimately left the theatre sobbing — I was deeply upset to be honest. So mazel to Nick for making such an impact — your story is important and I am sure many people can connect to it in a variety of ways (my review has suddenly switched to writing directly to Nick). I was really struck by what I'll call the Sigur Ros moment, it takes a lot of chutzpah to be that honest and vulnerable. It was an earnest and incredible performance overall. Thank you Nick for sharing your story in such a wonderful way. ... full review

P H E N O M I N A L Nick’s ability to paint a picture with words is outstanding. An amazing storyteller and comedian. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the story is dark, heartwarming and compelling but it was SO FUNNY. I know his run is over but you should buy a plane ticket and see him in Edinburgh in August!... full review
