DISROBED – Live on Stage! has concluded its sold-out 2023 HFF run.

This outrageous Naturist comedy is now a feature film! Body-positive organizations may arrange a public screening, and cast talkbacks, by contacting [email protected]

Naturist resorts and other theatre groups may also inquire about presenting a live performance, and obtaining scripts, of this hilarious and historic six-member play at the same email address. Please see our trailers, photos, and history at the Disrobed FB link below.

Thanks to all that “took the plunge” to attend naked, for spreading the word, and to ABC7 and Fox11 for the on-air shout outs.

Best 2023 Immersive/Games Show Nominee

OFFICIAL WINNER OF THE HOLLYWOOD ENCORE PRODUCERS AWARD

DISROBED, the noted neurotic Naturist (Nudist) comedy hit, is back for the 2023 Hollywood Fringe Festival for five performances only at the Studio/Stage Theater!

Praise for previous productions:

“An unforgettable experience! I left the theater feeling extremely brave and that I could conquer the world. We easily discarded our shyness and became one community.” – Cydney Davis, NAACP Award Winner

“There’s a lot of charm to be found in DISROBED, and I commend the artists for their hutzpah in pulling it off.” – Kevin Dunkelberg, Broadway World

“Disrobed was quite funny, touching, and tastefully done. The nudity was super boring in the best way possible. It was very respectful to the actors and audience. It’s a simple story about a family with quirks and that’s fun to watch.” – Ricky and Dana Young-Howze, RickyYoung-Howze.tumblr.com

“A fantastic and uplifting love letter about the Naturist community, in a safe and positive space. If you want to enjoy something a little different and more bare, DISROBED is for you.” – Jackie Kotowicz, Haunting.net

What’s up with all the giddy attention, international popularity, and rave reviews, you ask? It’s “Meet the Parents” with an hilarious naked twist! Skye is eager to introduce her buttoned-up fiancé Eric to her free-wheeling family, but she’s neglected to tell him that she and her kin are all nudists, and that she’s already assured them that he’s “one of us.” Will their relationship survive? When the clothes come off, will the humor, heart, and humanity of this wholesome parable on love and family remain?

This immersive theatre experience requires the audience to be in their birthday suits save for the shoes on their feet. You are also welcome to wear a COVID face mask, if you prefer a little anonymity. Don’t forget to bring a clothes bag, be freshly showered and have a towel to place on the seat! All photography is prohibited and all cellphones must be safely secured with front of house or stored in a clothes bag in the changing room upon entering the venue.

For the safety of both performers and audience members, no cell phones/electronics/recording devices/valuables will be allowed into the auditorium and must be safely stored before entering the auditorium. SCNA security monitors will monitor both the auditorium and the changing room for the entire duration of the show’s time slot to make sure there is no unsafe behavior in the venue. If a person is found to have snuck a phone/recording device into the auditorium or demonstrates unruly behavior, the SCNA security monitors may eject that patron from the performance with no refund and possibly take further action based on nature of offense.

Try to come to the venue 15 minutes before show time if you need maximum time to change. There will be a brief talkback with the cast and director after each performance for those wishing to digest their experience. Security will be present at all shows to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for each audience member in accordance with mainstream naturist values promoted by our sponsors at the Southern Californian Naturist Association and the American Association For Nude Recreation.
