What a rich part of American history told through the eyes of a journalist as the eyes of a city, the city of Chicago. This was such a joy to watch, and the historian in me was screaming for more! And the acting sucked me right in; fantastic story-telling....

Mitchell Biscchop is a tour-de-force in this one-man show about newspaper columnist, Mike Royko. Poignant and heartfelt, his storytelling keeps you wanting more and while the story happened decades ago, it feels very current. Phenomenal. From second one I was hooked. I thoroughly enjoyed this entertaining piece about a journalist (Mike Royco) who reported on so many historical moments. Absolutely iconic. The show was funny, political, sweet and sentimental. It reminded me a bit of Trumbo. (That's a compliment!) ...

EXCELLENT! I had never heard of Mike Royko, but, because of Mitchell's show, I now feel like I've met him. I thoroughly enjoyed this show - funny, informative, and such a great tribute to Royko. It's gotta be hard to write (and perform) a show about a phenomenal writer, but Mitchell did just that. Put this at the top of your list to see! ...

I met Mitch at the very first Office Hours and we've become Fringe friends so I was excited to see his show. I'm glad I did. Mitch embodied Mike Royko, but it was also a fascinating history of Chicago with themes of politics, racism and gun control that are still so relevant today. You should definitely see this show!...
