I'm grateful to have been able to see this heartwarming, tear-jerking, and surprisingly comedic piece. It is such a beautiful reminder (1) to see and engage with the humanity of everyone, regardless of the ideas we have about them (based on our individual and collective conditioning); (2) that every encounter can be a healing and transformative one; and (3) that we can use anything, even negative experiences, to gain a positive benefit and expand ourselves. Wishing you so much abundance as you continue to share this story ... full review

What a powerful and authentic "slice of my life" one person show - that is about SO much more than this one person. Rebecca shares a very funny and very real look at her life, riding daily on public transit in LA while being treated for breast cancer. We get to witness her journey through illness that holds up a mirror to her relationship to the world, to her family and to herself. And along the way, the characters we encounter are delightful, distinct and even lovable.... full review

Rebecca O'Brien is a treasure. This poignant and beautiful solo show aside, this is a woman who is loved by many. Clearly. What a journey on that 217 LA city bus as she endures a fight for her life. She brings many of these fellow passengers to life, some haunting, some hilarious and all exquisitely played. ... full review

A fantastic show with Rebecca recalling her experience through cancer without any role given to cancer itself! Entertaining, wistful, self-deprecating and a study of humanity in general.... full review

An outstanding and unusual one woman show. I was expecting fantastic comedy, as I've seen Rebecca O'Brien perform before - but this show is something greater - it's all about the energy and love she ended up receiving from people on the bus as she was making her way through cancer treatments. It has very heartwarming moments, screamingly funny moments, and is crafted with so much love and appreciation for the human race - all presented with terrific style, physical control and masterful acting! Don't miss this show!... full review

Wonderful evening at the theater! Rebecca has a gift for telling stories. She takes us on a very moving and oftentimes hilarious journey through her battle with breast cancer. The characters she meets on the bus to and from her treatments come to life in a rich entertaining way. A brave vulnerability along with a fierce joy of life color this outstanding solo show.... full review

I had seen parts of this show before, so I knew it was going to be funny. What got me though was how emotional and touching the show was. Rebecca draws you in with her impersonations of the people she meets on the bus and then laughs along with you at their quirky personalities. Then through her own emotional responses, she makes the audience really care about these people. Brilliant!... full review
