It was so beautiful and vulnerable. I laughed, I cried and so much of the piece resonated so deeply. The piece was very well written and insightful. Growing up in a community that is more or less homophobic, I understood what Jair was talking about and have seen very similar treatment of friends and loved ones. It broke my heart to hear the way he had to suppress his true self for such a long time, even going as far as marrying a woman. It was really fascinating, raw and vulnerable theater.
